ORDINANCE NO. 897
Section 1:Water Rates
Users of water supplied by the City of Bridgeport Water Department, Nebraska, the rates charged by the City Water Department shall be as follows:
Residential
Rate Schedule of Water Rates effective on the billing payable on or after October 1, 2015:
Customer Charge, All Residential and Commercial.......$37.35/month
Usage, per 100 gallons .....................................................$0.25 cents
Commercial
Rate Schedule of Water Rates effective on the billing payable on or after October 1, 2015:
Customer Charge, All Residential and Commercial......$37.95/month
Usage, per 100 gallons ....................................................$0.26 cents
Residential
Rate Schedule of Water Rates effective on the billing payable on or after October 1, 2016:
Customer Charge, All Residential and Commercial......$38.78/month
Usage, per 100 gallons .....................................................$0.26 cents
Commercial
Rate Schedule of Water Rates effective on the billing payable on or after October 1, 2016:

Usage, per 100 gallons .....................................................$0.28 cents
Section 2:Customer’s Partial Month of Usage Pro-rated for Base Charge
Calculation of adjusted rates for Water Customers that establish service for fifteen (15) or more days during a particular billing cycle shall pay one-hundred percent (100%) of the base water services, with charges due and owing above and beyond the base rate being prorated by the number of days service was active. Customers that establish service for less than fifteen (15) days during a particular billing cycle shall pay fifty percent (50%) of the base rate for water services, with charges due and owing above and beyond the base rate being prorated by the number of days service was active. This shall only apply to billing periods in which a customer has service for less than the entirety of the billing cycle.
